Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
When we start something new, we want to see it through. For example, a new years resolution or starting a new career, it's a confidence booster to achieve what we set our midns to.
This is the same heart that God has towards us. Many of us struggle with confidence because we place the burden and responsibility on ourselves.
Often times we fall short and feel down. What Paul is emphasizing here is powerful. Our confidence should come from God alone. It's not about grit, our own will-power, or capabilities. It's about God finishing the work he started in us. 🤯
When God begins a work in us, it’s not just a half-hearted effort. He sees it through completely! From the moment we accept Jesus, we are transformed and renewed.
God never quits, he’s working in us every single day, building upon the confidence of salvation.
We are God's masterpiece and we cannot fail. God is going to preach the gospel through you until Jesus comes back. Please believe this in your heart.
Even if only one soul gets saved, the heavens roar! If we think about this, confidence is the by-product. God has his hands on us, molding us, guiding us day in and day out to preach his precious gospel.
Knowing God’s committed to us gives us incredible peace.
We don’t have to stress about whether we’re good enough or if we’re doing enough. He sent the one (Jesus) who is more than enough. God’s at work in us through him.
It’s His power, not ours, that guarantees the salvation of everyone around us. Sometimes, we might feel like we’re not making progress. We mess up, we struggle, we face setbacks.
But this verse is our reminder that God is already working in us even when we can't see it. He’s faithful and we can trust in him. We have the almighty God with us, we do not need to feel discouraged.
God is our confidence so when you’re feeling down or discouraged, remind yourself of these verses. Amen!
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Everyone wants to advance in life whether it be financially, physically, emotionally, academically etc.
The most important journey in a Christian's life is the spiritual one.
Praying, fasting, tithing, and going to church is important but God highlights what he truly wants us to do. The first thing he wants us to do is grow in grace.
Why? Because grace is the most important thing to God. It is the very thing that gave us eternal life. We have all fallen short but God has given us grace through Jesus Christ.
This grace reconciled us back to God through sending his only begotten son. Jesus brought the good news of grace to us on earth.
This leads into the second thing that God wants for us, growing in the knowledge of Jesus. Sure, it's nice to know about repentance, prayer, tithing, fallen angels, and demons.
But what God wants for us is to grow deeper and closer to Jesus. He needs to be the main focus in our lives. We should strive to know more about Jesus, what he preached, how he dealth with others, and what he did for us.
Staying Gospel centered means to be Jesus centered. I hope we can all focus on Jesus rather than ourselves or gaining worldly knowledge. Amen!
John 10:28-30
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
These scriptures provide so much comfort and joy. They give us the assurance of salvation. Jesus speaks about the eternal security of those who believe in Him. He assures us that once we are His, we are secure in His hands forever.
God's grip on us is firm and unbreakable.
Our salvation is not based on our own strength but on God's power and faithfulness. Knowing that the Father, who is greater than all, holds us securely, gives us confidence and peace.
In whatever you do, please do it boldly by faith. We are the righteous children of God and heirs to his throne. Nothing can stop us or pluck us out of the father's hands.
When doubts or fears arise, remember Jesus' promise that you are secure in His hands forever.

Romans 16:17-18
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
In a world filled with differing opinions and teachings, maintaining unity in the truth of the Gospel is essential. So many people judge others and are critical.
The reason why they do this is because they think highly of themselves. Sadly however, they are unaware of their actions. It ultimately leads to them judging even themselves.
They lead miserable, lonely, and isolated lives due to their criticizing of others.
Paul warns that those who cause divisions often do so with persuasive words and appealing speech. Their goal is not to serve Christ but to fulfill their own desires.
Please do not be swayed by their eloquent but deceptive speech. As true Christians, we must speak the truth and not only say things that people want to hear.
When you align yourself with the gospel only, there can be no division. You will be protected from false teachings. You will not react to flattery or appealing words.
Always be cautious of anything that isn't representing the true Gospel of Jesus. Avoid anything that is not gospel centered and grace grounded.
We must serve only Jesus and the good news he brought. Amen!
