Romans 7:15-18
15Â For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16Â If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17Â Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18Â For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
There is always a conflict between our desire to do good and the reality of our sinful indentity. None of us want to have anxiety, depression, loneliness, or toxicity. Everyone desires to be good, trustworthy, and happy. The sad reality however is that most cannot acknowledge themselves through the scripture. They do not realize or refuse to accept that they are flawed internally and by design.
We are born imperfect but Satan does the job of telling us to be perfect. Once we try to be "perfect", we fail miserably and then he replaces that heart with another heart to rebel against God. He gives us thoughts like, "well, we fail anyway so whatever." or "I'm always going to be like this so who cares if I do this or that". or "I'm broken forever".Â
It's truly sad to see people get deceived this way.
God says that "If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good." This means that we should do the things we don't want to do. If we have lust, we should refrain from lust. If we don't want to read the bible, we should just open the book and read. This is what God tells us is good. Going against the normal fleshly desire and self-righteousness cultivates a very healthy spiritual life.
When we give into our flesh, the spirit starves but when we give into the spirit, the flesh starves.
In all of these things, we need the grace to accept and believe the words of Paul. God gave him a tremendous amount of Grace to be able to recogize himself accurately.
Paul identifies the source of his struggle: "Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me." Understanding that sin dwells within us helps us realize the depth of our need for God’s grace. We cannot defeat Satan by works. We must overcome by acknowledgement and grace. We are interconnected to Satan and predisposed to follow his evil ways naturally. That is why it's more important to deny our thoughts and feelings because it's the only avenue for Satan to work. He cannot for you but he can entice you to do things through your mind. Satan wants us to be right and pushes all the blame on everyone else. He makes you the center of attention and builds your ego this way. Satan never wants you to acknowledge your faults, rather he will do everything in his power to keep you "right" in your eyes.Â
"For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not." Despite our best intentions and desires, our flesh is incapable of achieving the righteousness without God. We must acknowledge our helplessness. We must see that we are truly evil by faith otherwise we will continue to fall to our flesh.
God truly loves us and does not want us to be right. The more "right" you are, the more misery enters your life.
When we acknowledge our true sinful nature, it leads us to depend on God. We start to appreciate his mercy and grace. Â We cannot overcome sin by our own efforts, but through Christ, we are given the strength to live victoriously. Amen!

Exodus 22:1
If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
The bible is Alphanumerical and contains numbers that have deep profund significance. Many people glance over these numbers not ever knowing the true meaning. God is very intentional with putting these numbers in the bible.
They all have a spiritual depth that needs explaining. For example, the numbers 4 and 5 here represent true repentance and is very deep. The number 5 represents grace and the number 4 represents appointed timing.
We will be going over these more in dept during the bible study. We have to look at the hebrew context for the true hidden message of these numbers.

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV)
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
Often, we think we know what is best for us, but relying solely on our judgment can lead to devastating consequences. Human wisdom is limited and flawed. We see only a small part of the bigger picture and often make decisions based on incomplete information. Our hearts lead us astray when we rely solely on our understanding.
In contrast, God’s wisdom is perfect and infinite. He knows the end from the beginning and understands the best path for our lives.
Sadly we cannot feel or understand this. It seems right to always be cautious and vigilant. But the end result is misery, sadness, and even death. There are times when we are convinced that our way is the right way. We make plans, set goals, and take actions based on our understanding and desires. However, when our plans do not align with God’s will, they often lead to frustration, disappointment, and misery. The path in our hearts will always seem right to us, but it always ends in difficulty.
We need to seek God’s guidance in every decision and we should always think about his heart.Â
I hope we can all come to this conclusion inside of our hearts. As right as we are, we can be 100% wrong in the eyes of God. Being 100% wrong in front of God is 100% the right thing to do. His ways....not ours. Amen!
Psalm 118:8 (KJV)
"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man."
Trust is a fundamental part of human relationships. We often rely on our family, friends, and colleagues to support us, guide us, and be there in times of need. We've all trusted someone dear to us and even the most trustworth people have failed us. We've felt that pain of isolation and betrayal.
This verse is teaching us that people are fallible, and their ability to be there for us can be limited by their own imperfections.
This verse emphasizes the importance of placing all of our trust in God rather than in people. Unlike humans, God is perfectly faithful, unchanging, and always reliable. He never fails or disappoints. He is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. Trusting in God means believing that He knows what is best for us, even when we cannot see it ourselves. His plans for us are good, designed to give us hope and a future.Â
Many of us want to live for our spouses, ourselves, or our children but God wants us to unite our hearts with him. This means to live a spiritual life preaching the gospel. Spiritual life leads us to only trust and lean on God.Â
The promise in Psalm 118:8 is that when we trust in God and acknowledge Him in all our ways, He will guide us and provide for us.
I want you guys to reflect today on areas in your life where you have placed your trust in people rather than in God. Are there situations where you are relying on your own understanding instead of seeking God’s wisdom? Do you want to live a spiritual life or are you living just to impress people and establish yourself? These are very important points of self-reflection and spiritual awareness. It's not to bring condemnation. I'm asking you guys to do this so that we can live spiritually in front of God. Please ask God to help you align with his heart and live not for man if you are struggling. It starts with acknowledgement and then application comes through the grace of God.Â

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Many people want to confirm before they accept. They want to see before they believe. If the situation matches what they think and feel, they believe but if it doesn't, they reject it.
Amazingly, the bible talks about true faith according to the standard of God. Faith is the assurance that what we hope for and believe in, though unseen, is real and certain. It’s trusting in God’s promises and His word, even when our circumstances are challenging. It's accepting that everything is from God even when things don't seem like it. But many of us do not do this.Â
This is the reason why so many relationships end in deep pain and disappointment. We are naturally imperfect and born sinful. This often leads to bringing baggage and trauma into healthy relationships. It is particularly painful when we are penalized or pushed away because of someone else's trauma. This is the result of trusting in human relationships rather than a Godly relationship. While people may forsake us, God promises never to leave us nor forsake us. But we have to believe in order to receive.
Faith in God provides the substance and evidence that, despite our current issues, we are not abandoned. God sees our pain, understands our brokenness, and remains faithfully by our side.
Often times we lean on humans rather than God because it's easier to do so temporarily. We do not want to wait with patience for God, we want to solve our own issues. In religions, people want to prove to God and show their own "faith".
Jesus made us righteous and even sends righteous people into our lives to help us.
But sadly, many people don't believe because they cannot see.Â
They are blinded by the vail of past trauma, their own righteousness, and their own projections. Many cannot see that Satan works this way. Rejection is the core power of Satan. He makes us give up our blessings and trade them in for curses. He makes us reject this precious grace from God and makes us sanctify ourselves. He makes us throw away the servants of God placed in our lives and exalts our hearts higher than Cathedrals. Satan does everything to isolate us away from faith. He wants to move us from living a faithful life leaning on God to leaning only on ourselves, past judements, and perspectives.Â
I truly hope that we can all throw away our perspectives, our flags, our selfishness, and experiences. I hope we can accept that God is in control at all times and that we do not need to try to confirm anything. Rather, we should accept everything from God.Â
This is the key to true freedom and faith in God. Amen!
